"I left the theatre last night with a bit of a skip in my step brought on by a simply delightful....imaginative and brightly presented...production of a so very familiar story that seemed to be born anew. You...and your entire company and production team...are to be generously commended for their individual contributions and collective efforts. You all deserve great praise" (Keith Gaylord, on A Midsummer Night's Dream 2017).
The Hour-Glass Youth Theatre, based in Burlington, Vermont, is a small group of youth actors and creative artists who all have an appreciation for Shakespeare and desire to bring new messages to an classic text. Henry IV, Part One was the company’s first show in Fall 2016, demonstrating a vital message about how growing up doesn’t have to mean losing your childhood. This summer (2017), Hour-Glass is pleased to present its second production: A Midsummer Night's Dream to begin rehearsing June 26th. You can find locations and times of performances at our "A Midsummer Night's Dream" page above.
